After finishing my latest glass pieces I have designed and turned three wooden forms for the top of my glass lighting. The concept of the wooden light is to integrate the wood into the down lighting series. This was made by using American walnut wood, starting by cutting into 4 parts square, drilled at 1inch width (allowing enough width for the cable and cain to fit between the wood) and laminated together. Then leaving in a vice to set over night and turning on a jig. Then setting with cellulose liquid and wax to bring the wood to a good finish.
